Simplify
Clarify
My word for the year is simplify. I’ve come to realize that when you simplify things in your life you’re able to clarify your perspective. Clarity has helped me to become more productive. I’ve been able to use time blocking to help me accomplish practically everything on my to-do list each day.
I hadn’t been able to do that in the past year. I’d been so overwhelmed. I had been trying to get too many things done at once. I had started to feel like a failure. I wasn’t seeing the success that I wanted to see each day.
Then I got sick back at the end of November for 2½ weeks, and everything changed for the better. It was a blessing in disguise.
Thankfully I got better. However, being sick physically helped me to get better in my overall health body, soul, and spirit. I started walking for 30 minutes every day. That jumpstarted weight loss for me. I started changing my diet and eating healthier. I found a renewed sense of confidence in my spiritual life. I started digging deeper into God’s word each day.
I started a new business venture. My husband and I have been cutting expenditures to save money. We’ve been trying to spend more quality time together even though we’re both very busy with work.
