This world can sometimes seem hopeless. I can relate. I’ve experienced that hopelessness when life stinks and nothing is going right. However, deep down in my spirit I have peace and hope — and joy from the Lord because I know that my hope is found in Him — and not in the things of this world. Consider the following 5 verses that you should memorize and recite when you need hope.

1. Trust in the God of Hope

13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13, NKJV)

This is my favorite verse about hope that is found in the Bible. I love how Paul states that God is the God of hope. God will fill you with all joy and peace — as you believe and trust in Him. If you want that joy and peace, you need to believe in Him and all His promises. My favorite part is the ending that if you believe in the God of hope — and are filled with all joy and peace in believing — you will abound in hope. I want to abound in hope! How do you abound in hope? By the power of the Holy Spirit at work in your life.

2. Hope for a Good Future
